Q: What does my session fee include?

Your session fee of $99 includes the following:

One on one private session with Santa (the same Santa who has appeared at Tivoli Village for the past several years). This isn't a traditional photography session that has standard poses, but a live photojournalist documentation of the family's interaction with Santa.

Santa will read to your children, they'll help him decorate the tree, look for their name on Santa's list, enjoy milk and cookies, find their house on his globe, and pick a present from his bag. While this is happening, we will be capturing every precious moment. If there is time at the end we can do the traditional staged "sit in Santa's lap", but that is not the purpose of this Santa Experience. It's more than just a photoshoot, it's a truly one-of-a-kind experience your family will talk about for years to come!

The session also includes a print package:

(2) 5x7 and (8) wallet-sized prints of your one favorite image from the session.

Q: Can I order more prints and products?

We offer a variety of packages that you can purchase, beyond the included prints:

We can design your Christmas cards and get them to you with plenty of time to send to family and friends - we're making Christmas easy this year! You can also order beautiful custom gifts for yourself, and every person on your gift list.

Q: When do I get to order my favorite images from the session?

We offer a full-service selection experience and ordering session for you to review and select your favorite images.

We will set up a time for you to view your gallery of images, choose your favorites, and complete your order. The session fee includes prints of your favorite image from the session, but you can always add on at this ordering session. The ordering session scheduling will open within a week of the session.

If you purchase the full gallery of digital portraits when you book your session:

The followup ordering session is unnecessary, and you will be notified when your order is ready for pickup or delivery. This will be within 2 weeks of the session.

Q: Can we change outfits during the session?

The session time slot is very strict, so any changing of clothing will take away from shooting time. The time slot can not be extended based on this lost time. We recommend coming in the outfits (or PJ's) prior to arrival and check-in.

Q: Can I bring my own props?

We cannot guarantee the use of any external props. We have invested a lot of time and money into a beautiful interactive set for you, with many that are already known to trigger wonderful spontaneous reactions. Let the magic of the Santa Experience take over, and you'll be amazed at the results!

Q: What if my child doesn't cooperate?

We cannot guarantee that every child is ready to interact with Santa with joy. The Santa Experience has been happening in other parts of the country for the past 8 years, photographing hundreds upon hundreds of families. We capture the authentic moment. If there is resistance we can not (and will not) force a child to interact with Santa in a way that is uncomfortable for them. We can still get several portraits that will be fun to show off, even if Santa is in the background. In many instances, Santa gets down on the floor and interacts with the children at THEIR level of comfort. 

Q: Can I bring our pets?

Due to allergies we cannot do sessions that include pets for the Santa Experience. We can set up a separate Pet Photography session for the holidays if you'd like.

Q: Is this just for children, or can other family members participate in the session?

This is not exclusive to children. The entire family can participate. However, the more people on the set, the more crowded the photos and less attention will be on the little ones.

Q: How old is too young, or too old?

From newborns to the young at heart! Anyone who wants to experience the Joy of Christmas can participate.

Q: What if we don't show up in time for our session?

You are essentially paying for your scheduled time slot. If you don't show up, or show up late, we cannot accommodate you. This is a fast-paced event, with families scheduled back to back. To respect all participants' time, we cannot "squeeze you in" at a different time.

If you cancel your session on or before 7 days prior to your appointment, you will be given a partial refund. We will retain $25 of your fee for the scheduling and lost promotion time for your appointment. If you cancel your session any time within 7 days prior to your session, you will forfeit the entire session fee.

You will be entitled to a full refund on any add-on packages that you purchased in advance.
